LCC Orlando Core Beliefs:

We believe that God created the Heavens and the Earth.
We believe that God created man in His image.
We believe that He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, into the world to take the burden of ALL our sin so that we can be righteous in His eyes and have ETERNITY with Him by simply believing in His saving grace, that Jesus died on the Cross with our sin, then DEFEATED SIN AND DEATH by rising from the grave on the third day.

We believe that it is by believing this truth in our hearts that we are saved and by nothing else so that no one can boast.
We believe that Jesus ascended into Heaven where He sits on the throne at the right hand of our Almighty God and that He has sent the Holy Spirit to indwell in those who believe in Him to teach us, help us, and be our Advocate.

We believe that He is coming again to usher us into eternity with Him.
We believe that in the essentials of our faith, there is unity; in the non-essentials, there is liberty; and in all matters, there is charity and love.
Amen.

The following outline presents an overview of our doctrinal beliefs:

THE WORD OF GOD

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the
original manuscripts, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and that it has
supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. (Jn. 17:17; Rom. 15:4; 2Tim. 3:16-17; 2Pet. 1:19-21)

THE TRINITY

We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons –
The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; that they are equal in every divine perfection, and that
they execute distinct but harmonious offices in the work of creation, providence and
redemption. (Matt. 28:19; Jn. 1:1-4; 1Jn 5:7)

GOD THE FATHER

We believe in God, the heavenly Father, an infinite personal spirit, perfect in holiness,
wisdom, power and love. We believe that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs
of men, that He hears and answers prayers, that He saves from sin and death all who
come to Him through Jesus Christ. (Jn. 3:16-17; Jn. 4:24; Jn. 17:5)

JESUS CHRIST

We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten and eternal Son, conceived by the Holy
Spirit in His humanity. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, and
teachings. We believe that He died on the cross for our sin, rose from death, ascended
into heaven, continually intercedes for His people, and will personally return to earth.
(Isa. 7:14; Jn. 1:14; Phil. 2:5-11; Heb. 1:2-3; Jn. 1:7; 1Jn. 5:18)
